Campsite

If you're travelling a long distance to buy your caravan from us, rather than having your demonstration and then leaving, why not be our guests and have a complimentary nights stay on our caravan park.

Nestled in the heart of Hardy country, this level, easy access site is a rural idyll surrounded by picturesque rolling fields that provide the perfect bolt hole from the stresses and strains of modern life.

We welcome campers and caravaners alike and can even arrange for you to stay on site in a tipi or a yurt!

With plenty of grass space and also hard standing ‘super pitches’ large enough for even the biggest of motor homes, the site can cater for all sorts of needs, from those that wish to have some peace and quiet to large rallies and enthusiasts groups. As well as all the amenities you’d expect, such as electric hook-up, toilets, showers and washing-up facilities, we also have everything you could need whilst on holiday, including a gym, picturesque lake, restaurant, caravan sales and accessories department, tow bar fitting and MOT facilities, cycle sales and repairs, calour gas sales and even a farm shop selling local produce less than 2 miles down the road.

For those who wish to explore, the site makes a perfect base to visit local attractions such as the World Heritage Site at Stone Henge as well as numerous English Heritage and National Trust properties such as Stourhead House and gardens, Salisbury Cathedral, Wilton House, Wardour Castle, Corfe Castle, Sherborne Castle, bath’s roman spas and of course Shaftesbury’s very own Gold Hill of Hovis fame. For those looking for more family focussed activities we are within easy reach of Longleat House and Safari Park, Monkey World, the blue flag award beaches, aquarium, museums, galleries, bars, restaurants and Imax cinema of Bournemouth, the Fleet Air Arm museum, the armies Royal Corp of Signals museum in Blandford as well as the Hall and Woodhouse brewery experience, Falconry days at Mere Down as well as the Terracotta warrior, Dinosaur and Mummy (the embalmed ones) and Teddy bear museums in Dorchester not to mention the annual Great Dorset Steam Fair near Blandford.
